You Are Cool

I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives Blog today with a fun winter themed card.  I couldn't wait to put my new goodies to work (dies, stamp and paper).  I love the colors and patterns in this Pebbles Winter Wonderland Collection.  I think it worked perfectly with the MFT die and stamp.

I cut the cup out of cardstock and vellum and love how it turned out.

Tea Tin Advent Calendar

I was up on the My Mind's Eye Blog with an Advent Calendar that I created using some tins I got on clearance last year just for this purpose!

I have several tea loving friends and some family members so after purchasing my husband a 'beer advent' last year, I decided that this year I would make a Tea one.

I used the Cozy Christmas collection as the small numbered paper was perfect to create some quick and easy tags.

24 different types of tea to try along with a gourmet chocolate.  yum.

Lots more information and instructions on the My Mind's Eye Blog.  I would love for you to take a peek!

Do Not Open Til Christmas

Another layout?!  I am getting into the Christmas spirit as it is my favorite time of the year!

I love these photos I took of my grand daughter last Christmas.  She fit so nicely in a stocking - this year she may fit but no way would will she sit still for us to try :)

I used Cozy Christmas collection from My Mind's Eye and adhered everything with Scrapbook Adhesives.  The second photo is mounted on Foam Squares for Dimension.

The title is cut with my Silhouette.

Of course lots of stitching :)

Colors of Fall

Guess what... I crafted again :)  and it was just for fun...Something happened to me a couple of weeks ago when I went to Michaels, I felt a tinge of the crafting bug again.  Hoping this means I will be spending a little more time in my scraproom... time will tell :)

I used the Scrumptious collection from Chickaniddy Crafts.  The denim paper and the colors were perfect for these photos.  The Putty cardstock is from My Mind's Eye.

The leaves and title were cut with my Silhouette.

As a final touch I added some stickers from SRM Stickers.

I was inspired by this week's sketch from Citrus Twist Kits

Slowly feeling some mojo, I do hope to be posting a little more regularly but I am not making any promises ;)

Mistakes are Proof

A quick post for me today.  I had a tiny bit of play time so I decided to whip up a card.  I love the pretty colors in the Office Suite collection by Fancy Pants and decided to make a card that could sit on a desk as a reminder for someone to keep on trying!

Super simple and fast.  But my grand daughter is coming over shortly so I must get ready :)

Peace and Joy

So here I am, third post this week!  Wow, haven't done that in awhile.  And today is a card that is just for fun, yay!  Not only that, I am blogging live :)

The other day I created these tags.  I kept the negative panel from the die cut tree, I knew it would come in handy for a shaker card.  Well I had a bit of time to do some blogging and I came across this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and it was pefect!

It is hard to tell in the photo but yes it is a shaker card, and inside is white glitter.  A super quick and simple card that will be perfect for mailing.  The cardstock is from My Mind's Eye (Polar Bear Glimmer) and just so you know... the cardstock is a wonderful weight! To create the shaker box I just used some old clear packaging, adhered it to the back of the die cut panel.  Then I mounted it with some Foam Tape, that I carefully adhered on the back of the panel, just outside of the perimeter of the tree.

Both the sentiment and die are from Papertrey Ink.

Here is the sketch:
